Realme 7 in for review

Realme is one of the few companies that actually managed to increase its sales during the first half of the year despite the pandemic, and seeing its currently lineup it will probably be able to maintain the momentum in the second half. One reason for that to happen is the arrival of the Realme 7 - a new phone with solid specs and an aggressive price tag.

The phone is now with us, and here are our initial impressions before we go through with our detailed testing process and full review.

Our unit arrived in Mist Blue color and it looks quite nice for a phone in these price segments. The back has a two-tone finish with the two parts not only differing in their colors, but also in the way they reflect light.

The front is occupied by a tall LCD, while the fingerprint scanner is on the right side. There is a single punch hole in the top left corner.

The phone will support 30W fast charging, as evident by the charger in the box. Realme hasn’t provided a fancy name of the standard like the SuperVOOC 2.0 rebranded into SuperDart, but it is the familiar VOOC 4.0 technology. Realme promises a full charge of the ample 5,000mAh battery in 65 minutes and we'll make sure to check that.
