Latest Google Pixel 5 leak shows new Mint Green color

This is not our first encounter with the Google Pixel 5, in fact, we’ve seen its almost complete spec sheet and a couple of images. Now leakster Evan Blass has shared yet more images – this time showing the back of the phone as well as a new color.

That color is the Mint Green that we never got with the Pixel 4 (despite leaks). Earlier today images of the Pixel 4a 5G surfaced, but only in Black. Also, the 4a 5G version seems to have a smooth finish on the back panel.

Unlike the Pixel 5, which has a textured finish – that should make it grippy and resistant to fingerprints. Also note that the formerly flagship Pixel line now uses a common rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

LG Wing teardown reveals a unique swivel mechanism

LG is an innovative company that prefers to forge its own path – while others are pushing foldable designs, the LG Wing comes with an out of the box swivel design. The mechanism rotates the large 6.8” display to reveal a secondary display.

When opened, the phone forms a perfectly symmetrical T shape. How does that work? Let’s watch Zack from JerryRigEverything take it apart to find out.

This design has some unique challenges. LG used a kind of lubricated plastic to ensure the swivel motion goes smoothly. Also, the two halves are slightly concave creating a void, which prevents any dirt and sand getting caught between the halves from being dragged along and scratching the secondary display.

LG has tested the Wing’s swivel mechanism and says it will survive at leas...

We’re in for quite a wait, however, as the event will take place on October 27 – that’s right, over a month from now. What does Amazfit have in store to get the hype train going so early? We only have this vague image to work with for now.

Amazfit teases new health-oriented smart wearables

Presumably, this is a close up of a round smartwatch, similar to the Amazfit GTR 2. Or maybe it is the GTR 2 itself, which is available only in China for now. This could be its global launch and (probably) the GTS 2 will tag along.

Whether an entirely new device will be...
